markm
It was being organised by a guy from Ashington who passed away a few weeks ago. I hope it has a good turn out. Sitting here only a few miles away they have a good day for it. It's for charity but a little costly for the working man, but also an individual entry would have been good. Might have got a few more up.
shaun4860
i went but couldnt afford to shoot, Good turnout with good weather, Bywell from what i gather supplied the venue and clays free of charge, Over £14000 was raised with entries and an auction, raffle/poolshoot/bar takings had still to be added. It was 50 sporting plus 2 flushes for teams of 4 On a personal note i think they missed a trick not allowing a separate sporting shoot for individuals but that was their decision. It was all done for a local shooter, Joe Barron who had hoped to attend but sadly passed away before it took place Edited September 24, 2011 by shaun4860
