wingnut Posted October 3, 2011 Report Share Posted October 3, 2011 Has any one lost a ferret in the Bawtry area?, my next door neighbours dog grabbed hold of one today when it shot out in front of them while she was walking down a bridle path, she brought it to me as she knows we keep them to see if there was anything that could be done,the poor thing was in shock so i gave it some water which it needed, and wrapped it one of my T shirts,it seemed to liven up and had some more water but, then it went downhill very quickly and went into a coma, even the honey on the gums trick didn't work this time, unfortunately it was too late. I buried him along side ours out in the field at the back of our house and left a marker for it. Deepest sympathies if it was yours, but if i lost any of mine i would like to know what happened.
