rarms
RF means u can in theory buy a .22rf (Rim Fire) inclusive of rimfire magnum LR means most dealers will only sell you a .22lr (Long Rifle)
Slipster
LR + long rifle RF =Rim fire

Gemini
You can buy a .22rf and a .22WMR (Winchester Magnum Round). Which is also a rimfire! What you must remember though is unless you have somewhere to shoot it (land etc), then it's a waste of time buying it because some smallbore indoor ranges won't allow it to be used. G.M. Jon-Boy
I have land to shoot over which was cleared obviously, but is a .22lr classed the same as a .22wmr in terms of leathality etc ? yes ive been cleared for 2x .22rf but what if the flo expected me to get 2 x .22lr rather than one of each. If i go and buy a .22wmr whats the likely hood of him saying "hold on a minute" i havent cleared that that for a .22 magnum round gotta be careful
