Needing a wee bit of advice if anyone has any.I have the Zeiss with a 72mm objective and a 34mm tube.I have Optilock bases, but the 34mm rings are only made in low,and im doubting very much if this will give enough clearance for the scope when its put on the Sako 75.The other option would be a Picatinny rail with higher mounts on top.Any help appreciated cheers.

hi mate what profile is the barrel ?

you could get some of these http://www.jjkshootingsupplies.co.uk/products/burris-2-piece-xtreme-scope-base-sako-to-weaverpicatinny/767/

and then get some weaver style rings to suite your scope hight. depending on barrel profile. i would still say you will need high

if you go down this route. best thing about this is you can then but which ever 34mm rings you want. i would look at the tps rings there superb.

i have just got some of these bases to fit weaver style rings on my m695 tikka. and I much prefer them to the optiloc rings and bases.
