bazzab
Hi all. Don't like torches fitted to scopes. Can't say why but just not keen. So I came up with this brainwave!!! (excuse pic quality!!) Fitted a inner tune sleeve to buddy bottle to protect it and stop torch sliding about. What a nightmare to get that on an all flat!!! Here's me torch. It's a beast. Some pieces on inner tube cut and torch fitted. Dummy fitted to rifle. Need to order some more camo tape a this is only scrap I had lying about. So imagine it all wrapped in camo tape. Gotta be honest not 110% sure if like look. BUT I do love how it's out the way and works very well. Feel free to pop up any thoughts and opinions? Bazza :) Edited October 11, 2011 by bazzab

Not bothered by how things look and what's acceptable bla bla. Long as it's functional who cares. Can't imagine there is anything more secure than cable ties. Is yours on ya bottle then buddy? arjimlad
Nice plan. I put my torch onto the S10 buddy bottle with one of these lockblocks. It's easy to manipulate the light a bit when I'm on aim.

arjimlad
This is where I got it some time ago. As you can see they are reasonably priced. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/universal-nylon-mount-for-flashlights-and-lasers-12000 I am looking out for a similar item at 90 degree angle to mount the torch onto my bike handlebars. It is dead easy (if a bit noisy) to undo the velcro & put the torch away.

They (dealextreme) do them too. Edited October 15, 2011 by Colster

parria
I've tried one of these clamped to the shroud in front of the bottle of my air-ranger, guess it'll do for a bike as well.... http://www.heinnie.com/Flashlights/-Accessories/Fenix-Accessories/Fenix-Bike-Mount/p-97-538-404-2514/

arjimlad
Cool - thanks. I have used the parallel lockblock to mount the torch to my cycle helmet.
