Tail Docking

Could all Scottish members,who haven`t already,please write to their MSP and ask them to support an exemption for working dogs at stage 3 of the Animal Health & Welfare(Scotland)bill.

Seems a tad unfair UK MP's can't influence the Scots parliment, unlike the scots MP's that can do south of the border, oh well

When it was happening in England I contacted both my MP & MSP and got fobbed off by them both "as it will not affect Scotland"........well it does now you lackeys so do something.....mumble.....gripe.....room 101 for MP`s& MSP`s

When this was happening here I filled in my card and sent it to my MP ect but after thinging about it and reading all what was said the bit I couldn't find out about was whether if affect / cover DEW CLAWS.

 

I have has spaniels but am now on my second lab.Both my painel and first lad were docked claws with the spaiel docked tail. Now my current Lab never was docked (got him at 8 months) and didnt really bother. Now last season he nearly ripped his right dew claw off, and had to take him to the vets as he wouldn't let me near it. He had split the nail and the new wick was starting to grow thru it.

 

Now I dont know if this is mentioned in any way in your bill or whether its all about tail docking and if you are getting the same sh!t3 law as we got.

 

Ie can be docked ig can prove to vet they are "likley" to be working dogs, but no docked dog can be shown in an show where the public pay to view???
