tigger
Are the L200's 2.5 because i get the impression from the pajero forum that the 2.5 is a bit looked down on and i think its the same engine/box etc. Spent a fortune on a surf and got rid of it. Can get unlucky with any make. Certainly is 2.5 mine purrs like a pussy cat got a decat on it and blanked the EGR valve helps it breath better a worthwhile mod

working dog
Had my 07 plate for over a year now with no issues. Its like any vehicle, there are horror stories and plenty who have no problems. Cant wait for the white stuff to turn up this year

Highlandladdie
My brother in law had a 53 plate L200 animal. First engine(of 3) went at 60K. He had numerous problems and after the 2nd engine blew and the 3rd engine was installed he flogged it. However he must have liked it, as he went out and bought a brand spanker (2010 trojan) and it has been flawless so far.
