Nickt
Anyone knows if the UK rules apply to the Republic of Ireland? A friend of mine has some land with game/dear, and he said I can go over any time I like!! Do I need special licences to carry the guns over and to shoot? Most likely to go by car and boat. Many thanks Nick

Pastiebap
You need your UK certificate plus europass. Prior to travelling you must attend the Garda station nearest and apply for an out of state FAC, it's something like 40 euro per gun per year. I also believe you need to apply to the ministry for a licence to shoot deer.
