A windy nights lamping

Had a look out last night with the rifle as the sky was nice and dark and the wind was up abit. On arrival at the first farm where there is nothing but hares we quickly had 4 hares within 15 minuites. Walking onto the next field the wind started to pick up abit which made the shooting alot harder but I still managed to shoot another 2 hares out of a possible 3 (empty magazine) that we saw. Moving onto the last field on this farm we put the lamp on to find another 2 hares sitting out around 90 yards ahead so down on the floor, rifle on bipod and the last 2 hares were down. After gutting the 8 hares we walked back to the landy to pack up so we could move onto the next farm where there are a few rabbits around. This land isn't cleared so I was shooting again whilst my mate was on the lamp (waiting to get it cleared for him}. Its only a small farm 160 acres so walking around didn't prove too difficult and by the time we were done I had shot 19 rabbits for 23 shots, which wasn't bad cosidering the wind was realy houling by then. End result was 8 hares and 19 rabbits. :good:
