Devon Fox
Hi All My pal has bought Himself 2/3 ferrets (we havent ferreted since we were teen's) We never used to bother with locators etc, but now it would be silly not to make use of some helpfull tech Question is, can anyone point me in the right direction for finders/collars etc at a decent price?, or do you have to suck it up and pay over £100 for a deben set up? Been looking for second hand gear, but it seem rarer than hens teeth, and gear gets snapped up in minutes Cheers for now.

jimthefish
Ive been using the mark3 for 2 seasons now and i must say its worth its weight in gold. In my opinion you should use locators for the pure reason of ferret welfare, plus you get that bonus rabbit when you get a lay up :good:
Devon Fox
Thanks chaps. Will invest in the gear Been mooching around a few ferret forums, lets see what comes up
Ferret Master
I would advise just taking the hit on a MK 3 and some collars. In the long run you won't regret it! I also suggest buying some spare batteries for the locator and collars to keep in your ferreting bag. They always go flat/run out due to forgetting to switch them off /get dropped in the grass and never seen again, when you really dont want that happening! TomV
make sure the collars are always on tight enough as it came off one of my ferrets once, we were digging for 2 hours to find the blo$dy thing!!
