deadeye ive
Thats some great shooting fellas. Considering the wind was a bit iffy. Looks like a good day out. Them Eagles are good arent they? I love them me self , cant beet it for the price. Frank. The eagles shot well Frank but the ballistic tipped stuff won the day......but at 18 quid a box Yes, true, the Bt shoot great and are fantastic for long range fox, but as you say, you have to pay for it. Im finding the Eagles out to 250yds are champion on fox. Frank. Frank I haven't done enough testing at 250 but at 200 I was under 1.75" with the AE's ...........Would like to do more development at these long ranges ...........I started a new Box and because of the conditions it was hard to say whether the consistancy was still there ........The first groups were from another box (Same batch number though )
deadeye ive
Some good groups from both of you boys Ive that group that is strung out high right, did you you shoot them quite quickly? Just wondering as that is what my Tikka does if I rush a few through it.. No Miffy is right ...........I take my time between shots Stuart .........The interesting thing about that first group though is the fact that it was achieved after a vigorous rifle bore clean ..........It's never grouped that tight before and they were always low and to the left .......... ........Just when you think you have fullbore cracked it throws up another factor in the equation  I'm surprised that no one as commented on the effects of wind ,especially the .243 We ,Myself and Miffy had thought nothing would affect that calibre at 100 yds but it did ...............If you look at the multiple target you'll see that the relationship between both .223 /243 calibres as remained the same .Can't comment on the .17's

deadeye ive
I took my .22 too the zero range today. 100 meters, I had groups under 1 inch. Im impressed. Untill the bolt stopped ejecting the cases I knew something would go wrong Welcome to the World of **** law .........A possible build up of wax and powder on the extraction claw I feel ..........Eleys are a waxy bullet and the wax is a welcome addition to the rifle flutes BTW . 1" groups at 100 yds is quite impressive especially if you were using subs Go on now tell me your using Winnies
