scouser
milner,s in buxton should have what you want, plus anything else you can think of. 01629-734411. decent garage should do it in less than 1hr.
mrwabbits
Minimum 1 hr labour + parts + vat. Max 2 hrs labour tops. . Eg : 2hrs Labour @ £25. = £50.00 + parts (2x @ £23.40 rod-ends)= £46.80 + consumables = £5.00 + Tracking alignment = in labour + VAT. All depends what hourly rate / job price they charge at. Could pay anything from £20 / £25.00/hr to £40.00 depending who and what they are , and how seized the rod-end threads are. So, - rounding off figures , minimum approx say £120.00 max approx £160.00. Make sure the tracking alignment is done after fitting ends, or it could cost you dearly later in poorly worn tyres If your repairer doesnt do tracking alignment, then go straight after to tyre co. /firm who does - Laser alignment is good Note : # These prices are a guide and subject to change # Unless you know someone cheap . :look: cheap cheap

Reply : Personally , I would ask them directly to, at the time of booking job in. Make the specific request for tracking to be checked and altered/adjusted accordingly after fitment of ends. That way , there is no confusion of the job requests made by you and the work entailed. If they dont do it, they will say. Depends who does repairs for you, what their charges are, and what facitities + equipment they have. Ask them for a "job price" quote before booking it in, that way you get a rough idea on total price and no surprises when you return to pay + collect. Good luck , it may come cheaper than you expect.
