young gun
Does anyone else lamp the land? because i shoot over a friends bit of land where another person has been allowed to lamp it before and ever since they have all become lamp shy as he has apparently missed a few and they are now almost impossible to call in. young gun
make sure you choose a good night for it, one where its overcast so very dark and with a bit of a breeze so it can carry you're sent away but not so much you can't get you're call out to them

Axe
Are you using any colour filters, I find Amber is best but red is also good. You may find they respond better to different colours. Don't be tempted to keep switching the light on and off. Start from the side and light up, sweep across your field of view and to the opposite side. If you find what your looking for, depending on the distance keep the light to one side just enough to catch the reflection of the eyes and call. If the Fox responds and starts to run in, keep the lamp on but to the side. Once in range, well you know the rest. If they don't run in then sweep the lamp away gentlly and switch off. Wait for 5-10mins then call again. Wait for a couple of minutes and sweep the lamp accross, etc. etc. Baiting can also be effective and the use of differing calls may also give you different results. I have several calls loaded on my phone as MP3's. Its particularly loud, but it is effective. As mentioned, make sure the wind is blowing towards you. You may find some Fox try and circle you to try and pick up a scent.

trakker01
firstly get a bunny, check the direction of the wind,(have the wind blowing over ya heads), crouch behind a wall / or dip /bush whatever.... mash the bunny on the wall / tree, open belly,& place it on top of the wall / bush..have its scent going down the field... squeek...squeek....(loud).3/5 mins wait & check around...(using edge of lamp lite) and again.(in a lower tone)..be patient...... when target in distance........let go!! wait 10/15 after kill.......go again..... p.s no aftershave/deoderant/smokin' allowed ......or just go home...
