Cottonseed Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 You always remember your first woodcock! Mine's up on a shelf behind me now in its glass case. It took me five years to get even a chance of a shot at woodcock and I succeeeded finally on the last drive of the last shoot of the season. Strangely, I got my second on the first drive of the next season and many others in the years after. I used to do a bit of rough shooting with muzzle loaders and would've loved to have shot a woodcock with black powder. I'll bet you remember everything about that shot for years to come. Well done.
