daz2202
I hae some xmas money to spend and my battery pack is due to be replaced. Apart from tools i have no experience with Li'on batts. I have a striker 170 which i use either red or amber filters. I like the wieght advantage of not carrying around a lump of lead with me, but what amp hour should i go for as seen 8,10 and 22. so shall i get one or just another £20 dry cell one Your experiences please ... daz
sethb
Buy the best you can afford, the only problem with lithium batterys is they just turn of when flat,no like the original batterys that give you warning when the lamps starts diming, lost a couple of foxes recently with the lithium just turning off before i took the shot. bullet boy
If your serious about your shooting, get a Lithium ION battery and you won't look back!I've got the 12v 22ah one and it is superb!Ok it's not cheap but you pay for quality at the end of the day. The newer Lithium ION batteries have a 'Fuel Gauge' on them to let you know your charge so you'll know how much power you've got. They are extremely lightweight compared to normal batteries. This battery is a must for all Lampers!
yankeedoodlepigeon
Deban 22ah if you walk around on foot to last all night, winter, dusk till dawn
weejohn
100% buy one, amp/hr really depends on how long you usually lamp for. I initially bought the 10ah but then also bought the 22ah.

Mr_Logic
they're great batteries, definitely worth having. Amount of juice depends on usage and budget.

pegasus bridge
i had a look at lots of these before biting the bullet and getting the deben one. i am fairly sure they are a max discharge of about 30 watts?

pegasus bridge
My Clulite Shootlite is only 20 watts might be worth a punt then! but at £60 from the far east it might end up being a bit of a gamble. if your lamp is only 20 watts the 7ah deben would last all night! pegasus bridge
Might have a look at this then.. Fleabay for that money it would be worth a punt - put a review up when you get it - i would be very interested to see how it performs. yankeedoodlepigeon
They will not even power your light up never mind go lamping with them. I watched a review on them on youtube last week.
