dendro
Anybody know what the size of the choke on a 410 should measure. I have a old 410 and have no clue what choke is fitted. There is no info on the barrel and it has a choke fitted.
figgy
Get a gunsmith to check as choke gauges are **** if you were thinking of trying one.Choke is restriction from the bore measurements. A 12 bore with barrels measuring 18.6mm full choke would be 17.6mm at the muzzle, every quarter mm equals a quarter degree of choke.Depending on how old and used your gun is wear can alter its choking but most .410 guns are full choke. Underdog
I have found full choke on 410's to be around .390" and obviously .400" being half. Hope this helps. Underdog.
