  1. Always a enjoyable dayout, even with the weather being a bit rough.
  2. Good day out with Ian and Ian, Ian will do his very best to get you some shooting, my day started very slow with only 1 bird that was passing and a couple missed that where flighting past. A move was then made in the early afternoon which put me onto some and a couple even committed to the pattern but most where just flighting past.Finished the day with some in the bag and smile. Thanks again
  3. Just like to say thanks for the day out Shaun and thanks for the pointers when we where roosting shooting. If that wind would of kept up it look like we would of had a nice bag,as they started to come in well to roost, but with it dropping and the rain coming they just stopped on us. Finishing the day with a scrapper double figure bag I was more than happy, especially with my shooting being so poor(1 for about 4-5 shots was my ratio ) and the pigeons not playing the game. I would recommend a day out with Shaun on the pigeons any day,he puts you in the right place with plenty of pigeons . All the best and cheers, Tom
  4. Pm sent. I maybe able to make it Friday if you still have a space free.
  5. Cheers for the afternoon out. Also nice to meet some lads off hear. It was spot on. Tom
  6. Managed to get a few with my old beretta 686 and was well happy as I cannot seem to get on with the auto . There is not a lot around on the permission at the minute ,so I was very happy with the result and for a couple of hours sat with this view . Better than being at work any day.
  7. Cheers for the replys .
  8. I am thinking of giving Wildfowling a go this year and just wondered if anybody has a club to recommend on the wash. I will be travelling from Derby so if anybody else is travelling from my neck of the woods, then I could drive and possibly look at sharing the costs. Thinking of giving the day permit a go first just to see if its for me and if so joining the club if possible.
  9. Had a top afternoon out. Tom put me on a field with plenty of birds coming over and checked regularly to see how it was going. It was just a shame my eye was not in as much as I would of liked and to top it off my gun jammed twice at the critical moment on the easiest birds of the day. Cheers Tom
