Spara Dritto
I've never tried steel shot, would be interesting to compare it to lead. From what I've heard, It's not great though...
HDAV
Probably decided Hull and Eley had the 21g market sown up, and more margin in steel shot once you have the facility to manufacture and assemble it? Wasn't there stuff afoot to make 21g the limit for Olympics?

Guest cookoff013
i started tinkering with 19g steel loads, but i came to the issue that in 9s would be suitable for skeet, and the 7s only suitable for some sporting shots. these would still have a speed limit of 1400, but thats 1300 in real terms. these light steel loads can use normal shotgun powders and normal powder charges. thats the good thing about them. so skeet yes, dunno if they would be used for anything else. sooner or later some bright spark will start taking geese with these. so they can go fowling on 2.50 a box. Using AS 24; can't be bad! i dont understand how you came to the assumption that it is AS24. although i do think you are correct. the powder for these silly light shotcharges need to be fast.
