C00KIE
Anyone used mineral licks on their patch ? Was toying with the idea just to pull them off the usual route ( only by about 10 yards ) so as i can get them in to a better position for a shot. Any recipes or recomendations for a block would be good also.
cooter
I tried them for Munties but they showed no interest so I gave them to the horses. I have had Munties take molasses pasted on a tree though.
Dekers
Some of the farmers use this sort of stuff for their animals but the deer don't seem bothered. We tried a block on one site guaranteed to be irresistible to the deer, they resisted it. What I know does work on one site is a bottle of Orange squash, it obviously need siting well, hanging at an appropriate height in a tree/bush whatever, pin ***** top and bottom of (Plastic) bottle which will allow a very very very slow drip empty and encourage licking. Roe and Fallow on this site love it! EDIT Ha Ha, the ***** above it what happens if you have an injection, you get a little ***** in you arm!
