P~MX
I clean mine with spray brake cleaner, leaves them better than new, it's cheap, clean & dries up in 15 seconds ready to oil
HDAV
I might get some brake cleaner next time i pass a motor factors... just put them in a small dish and a liberal amount of lighter fluid, gave them a wipe with a cotton pad to remove the grime and dried with some kitchen towel then a squirt of legia and looking good! The joys of VAT retruns! I now have 2 clean chokes!
