BRAD1927
a way out!!! I like landrover but they are money pits mine is in the garage yet again for the 4th time this year. Mine has had new drive shafts, new prop, new vcu and bearings. Now the gearbox has blown so as soon as is fixed she will be going. Sad really as its a great car to look at and gets across the fields in comfort but enough is enough. Mine is the 2.0 DI on a V plate by the way. TD is supposed to be better

ferguson_tom
We have a TD4 on a 53 plate bought second hand from a dealer and has had quite a list of problems, nothing major though all electrical and everything has been repaired under warranty. We did the normal thing full lock both directions forwards and backwards, drive it hard and rev the engine till it red lines apart from that there is not much more we could of done. Apart from this we both love the car and does everything we want. For 1K though if it has tax and MOT any modernish diesel is well worth that. snowz
Test drove the one I was offered. Was fine in a straight line but going round bends or on tight lock the prop banged like **** so passed on it. Looking for a frontera now I think
