Missed, and spooked around 6 or 7 other birds.. Loads of activity in my area. Some of the large flocks have broke into pairs ere, so sport is getting better. Co. Down. Blackpowder Posted January 27, 2012 Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 Woodpigeons are harrying our pheasant feeders at the moment so had the brilliant idea yesterday of decoying round some of the feeders in game crops. Well in two hours only one bird came in , of course while busy with flask and cup. Got fed up with no action so went around to check other feeders for grain levels and what happened twenty pigeons sprang from one feeder in woodland offering a couple of easy shots, being totally unprepared again only got one.
