kent
shame, your missing out on some experiments. on a serious note it WILL bounce of my coat, and as for shooting foxes at 75meters with a shotgun tut tut. very in-humane. You need to consider circumstances before you make such a call on what is and is not humane, if there was a wounder are you suggesting such a shot should not be attempted? (like i say not recomended). As for bouncing off your coat with number 5's i hope you gain some proper experiance and good scense before someone gets hurt, "will always" and "will often" are two very diffent things. My friend and sheep farmer once dropped actually a large lab further than this with a std game cartridge with a single if somewhat flukey single pellet strike

My friend and sheep farmer once dropped actually a large lab further than this with a std game cartridge with a single if somewhat flukey single pellet strike and the key word there is FLUKEY. not a chance that any shot at any animal at 75 meters is humane with a shotgun, even magnum carts arnt any good at that range. buy a dozen eggs, place them in your coat pocket, hang your coat on a tree and go and stand 75meters away, fire a whole box of carts at your coat, then take the eggs home and cook the family a omelet (im afraid you will have to brake your own eggs)

No point discussing this further with you.

No point discussing this further with you. well seen as we was talking game loads...... and still shooting at a living animal with 00 buckshot aaa's bb's at 75meters is IN-HUMANE no question. unless you are just planning on wounding it. but then again your probably the first guy to say '35 yard max for fox with bb's, arnt you? EdSolomons
I cant speak about the bbs as I don't shoot them but 75 yards you can consistently flatten birds no problem. I rarely find my pellets bounce off them.....
