turbo33
Took a trip out to the farm, more to show my face than any expectations of a big bag. I was suprised to see about 300 birds piling into the rape After watching for the best part of an hour, I set up with 25 decoys and the whirly. All the birds predictably lifted and went to the other end of the field and tucked into the rape there I made a quick call to the farm manager and met him back up at the yard to collect a gas banger. I whipped it over to the other side of the field, turned the gas on and winged back to my hide. By this time it was 11.30 and not a shot fired. After moving the whirly a couple of times, and the gas banger not firing due to a flat battery I finally managed to get them to come in. Packed up when it dried up at 4. Shot 20. Not a huge bag, but good to be out for the first time in a while.
