Lampwick
Thought I would have a go at butter making today! Bought 600ml of double cream £1.50 took it home and blitzed it with the processor. It thickens to a hard cream then goes lumpy. Keep blitzing it until it sheds the butter milk, drain the butter milk (you can use this for baking) salt to taste, whizz it a hit more and bingo, butter!!!! It took about 15 mins to get 12 ounces of butter and it's lovely too! Going to keep an eye out for cheap cream, close to sell by date and make some more. Marge schmarge!!!
