Dekers
Hi all any views on this lamp for foxing on my HMR Cheers Mark I have the Deben Max Pro and Mini Pro, I consider them to be the best package available, ie size, weight, light output, quality, value for money, etc! 400 yards may be a tiny bit optimistic, but to be honest not much, considerably less (AS ARE ALL LAMPS) with a filter, but then again, 400 is more than optimistic for a fox with a HMR as well. EVERYTHING is included, and if you buy at some sites you are likely to find them at better than list and with a filter. Be careful you compare like with like, many lamps may seem cheaper but are likely to be lamp ONLY, so you will have to invest a lot more. Uncle Albert
I use the Max pro abd find it great falue for money. Start off dim and bring the light up gradually. Stops spooking the bunnies. I use mine with a red or green filter on it. Brilliant for using with air rifle or with my rimmy. Battery is 12 volt and slips in the pocket of my jacket. Lamp fits on top of the scope with the brightness control fixed on the forestock by velcro.

mick miller
It's quite a wide beam, in all honesty the lightforce probably 'tighter' but it can be made quite ergonomic for the lone shooter. It's what I used before getting the NS200 and it works well. The tiny battery is superb, you can easily fit it to a rifle stock without affecting the balance of the rifle.
