fiiish1987
I now this is gunna sound newbieish! but can anyone suggest a decent domehead hunting pellet? I've been using aa hunters because whenever i go into sport arms they reckon they have no acupells in stock! the AA's are decent enough when it comes to accuracy but im fed up with them damaging because there so soft! (Before anyone says mail order acupells i cant be ***** to pay p+p for just them!)
Axe
I would have said Accupels are amongst the best, why not ask your shop to keep some back for you, or actually order some in. If your getting on with the AA pellets why not try finding a better way to store and transport them. I used to use and old camera film tub half filled with foam, worked good enough for me. fiiish1987
They AA's are already damaged in the tin! it seems just knocking on eachother is enough to mess up the skirt! Just went down to sport arm in my lunch break and they had some accupells in! bought 5 tins of the *******! lol

fiiish1987
lol will do. If i get through that many tins inside this half of the year i'll also make a note to either a) improve my accuracy or get a gun with a fast rate of fire, you've got a major bunny problem! Lol and thanks for the tips on what to carry pellets in. My partner has one of those pellet pouches with loaded mags in but as i use the trusty lightning i carry a few in my jacket pocket and a load more in a felt lined tin. I find the tin can be a bit to big so i may try the old film case. how did you line the sides to prevent the rattle as it surely would be tricky using the same foam as you have on the base. Axe
If you fill the case to 1/2 or 2/3 with foam you can pack it full of pellets. The weight of the pellets will allow some compression of the foam which will give. As and when you remove the pellets and available space is used as the foam starts to expand and push the pellets up. If you get what I mean.
