feaks
Gave the CZ 453 a right Royal clean this week and decided it was time to put it on paper for a refresher of its capabilities. It's been about three months since the last outing due to me using a .22 nv combo over the winter and today being quite still looked ideal . Load all my bits into the sniper bag, take off to the permission, put a board up, put a shooting mat down, load mag, get gun from bag and set it up just so. First shot flies and goes maybe a centermetre low and left at 72 yds. Not bad. Next shot, deep breath and hold, pull the trigger. Click, no bang, pop or even poof, just click. I wait a couple of seconds pull back the bolt and there we have a case with no bullet just powder. Oh well, home we go, bullets been pushed out now and there's always tomorrow i suppose! Sniper bag now has a break down rod in, i suggest you get one too.

Dekers
This has never happened to me, but apparently there can be issues. The HMR is an excellent calibre for what it is excellent at, cases split, it is a nightmare in semis (we don't have to worry of course) and now and again something doesn't work! I an not defending it in any way, and a cartridge problem is NOT to be taken lightly, but to the best of my knowledge the barrel/action is plenty strong enough to cover a bullet on bullet situation and I have not heard of any injuries, let alone fatalities with the apparently many issue the HMR ammo can throw up!
