Left work early on friday for another go ob the pigeons. Went to the farm and was told i could set up on the same field as last time. When i got to the field there were no pigeons at all but thought i would set up anyway managed to get the hide and decoys set up by 12.15 after about half an hour i got the first pigeon to committ to the pattern but as soon as i lifted the gun above the hide he was off needless to say i missed it. there was plenty of pigeons and crows flying around but not one of them committed so had lots of shots but missed all of them. Used a jack pyke cammo head net for this outing and i have to say that i think that it helped.

pigeon 2 me 0

still, i enjoyed the afternoon. Its all practise afterall. Looking forward to the next rematch.

Got to ask........... how did it help if they didn't commit and you didn't shoot any??? :hmm:

I think it helped because last time none committed and hardly saw a bird all day but this time saw loads flying near me but they flew off when i moved my gun to get ready for the shot.
