Johnnyplatt
Chaps, Dropped a ******* the other day and took my wife shooting. She loved it and is eager to go again. At the moment, we're going to be limited to grounds with a section 21 but I'd like to expand that so I was wondering what the procedure was for her getting her SGC - I've already been checked and we've got provision for 4 guns in our (formerly my) cabinet. Do we need to go through the whole process again with her? Hope you can help, John

TbirdX
My Mrs just applied for her SGC also. Exactly the same process over again.
chady
Would they need to inspect the cabinate again though? If you tell them the gun will be kept in the same cabinate that they inspected? That might save some time?
apache
Aye, same process, but it's not that bad, is it? If the only place she ever wanted to shoot was a clay ground then I suppose you could have a gun for her on your cert and go with her to the clay ground? we're going to be limited to grounds with a section 21 Unless she's a bad girl I think you mean a section 11 exemption (section 21 deals with Possession of firearms by persons previously convicted of crime!) bedwards1966
Assuming you don't have FAC guns in your cabinet so can share it, it should make it all slightly easier than when you applied as the cabinet is already approved. Other than that it's all the same, but it's not really that big a deal, just a couple of forms! And £50...
