ferguson_tom
I thought about going the van route as my car gets a beating and loads of harsh use, the insurance put an end to that idea. I am 22 and it was £1500 on a 1.7cdti combo van about 10 years old. Out of interest i looked at the astra which its based on and insurance would of been £600 for same engine, age etc
shaun4860
If you can get the Corsa van (Combo) with the side door and rear seat (folds flat) with window in the side, Its classed as an estate car, tax is £35 a year for the 1.3cdti ex post office are the ones to go for, but expect to pay vat on them. dan-250
Get a people carrier and take all the seats out, and get the side and back windows tinted. Cheaper way around it as you won't be carrying heavy loads. More luxurios, and probably better fuel economy. Or get an old estate car and use that, again if u need the room just take the seats out.
