Gutter
Hi I am looking for some advice on getting a good Lamp to use from the vehicle. I have an egleye 100W and it states 600 (Questionable) Mtrs but it does not give me the range I need before the rabbits get spooked, i need a more focused beam to use. any help would be great. Salop Matt
600meters is a very powerfull lamp ! 3good lamps are lightforce, clubrite and culson lance lamps. I have a culbright and a light force and the clubrite is my preference now so the light force is a back up left in the car to run from the car ! Do you lamp with filters or white light ? Salop Matt
Maglite are od and outdated and poor performers in comparison to mt torches these days. Cree lamp technology these days is brilliant.
Salop Matt
Any of these will do a great job. http://clulite.cluson.co.uk/4-spotlights This is what I have http://clulite.cluson.co.uk/led-torches/357-clubriter-rechargeable-led-hand-torch.html But the green variant looks good to ! Shropshire_Lad
Still like the lightforce 140 for Rabbits. All about geting to know what works. If you Pick a Rabbit up at range, never turn the lamp off but always keep it on the top edge of the beam, move quickly and quietly into a shootable range. Never put the Rabbit in the centre of the beam, use just enough light to shoot clearly by. For the last twenty or so years this has worked prety well, The red filter making the eye stand out well but also at shootable ranges making quarry definition certain. atvb Paul.
