bobby dazzler Posted July 9, 2006 Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 went to have a look round one of the farms i shoot at to check out the pigeon score and bumped into farmer and he warned me that two of his sheep had been bitten by adders one died and the other is pulling through cus i had my lab with me he said just be a bit carefull the farm that i shoot is some distance to neareat vets what would be the best thing to do if that was to happen if he got bitten all so changeing subject a bit i was told not to take the dog out on rape stubble is this true cus of how tuff the stems are any addvice please thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When running in areas with either of these we put full leather boots on the dogs. They are quality boots, out of good grade leather 1/4 inch think.
