Mungler
Great little shoot, top burger van and cracking weather. Good to see a few familiar faces Went round in 9,8,9,9,8 with a mix of the pump action and Bazzer's new bling carbon fibre Browning semi auto - as it happens I hate Brownings but that one was very light, pointable and a decent [flat] sight picture (it doesn't have that hateful and off putting Browning high rib) - it's on the shopping list now If anyone in Herts wants a chilli plant, they're with Terry. Good to see Billy again - he came bearing gifts...

PhilR
Mung, Good to see you along with Evil Elvis and Dangerous Dave. Good shooting too Did you have a problem with the pumper on stand 1? We eventually did the 70 birds, putting the 50 notice up was a mistake. I shot 48 , On stand 2 the rabbit escaped unscathed and I only hit 3 of the L to R crosser and on stand 4 I couldn't seem to work out the sim pair of edge on clays and got 4 there. The rest were 7, 8, 7, 10 and 9. Thank you for the chilli plants, Mrs PhilR was well impressed they're much more advanced than ours. Should we call them Mung's Specials or do you know the varieties you brought along? Edited April 1, 2012 by PhilR
Gnome of the Woods
What a great day, best score ever by a long margin. Great company as always. And good to see some old friends and meet some new ones. Is it time for my nap yet?

Should we call them Mung's Specials or do you know the varieties you brought along? The taller ones are box standard Jalapenos from Wilkinsons seed rack. The smaller darker ones are my hybrid thai hot - great to stick in a pot on the window cill and pick off. Small, bright red and really really hot. As for the pumper on stand 1 - yes, it hadn't been out for a while and the mechanism was stiff - I was giving it large because it was a simmo pair going away and I had to rack it super fast - it's all in the wrist.... Great day out - top location and lovely weather. You Herts boys know how to lay it on

GetAfiX
Only 1 post in nearly 4 years! where have you been? Are you local to the shoot? Well I am always out shooting rather than posting I should claim. But alas I do also work for a living so it is not 100% true. I am getting back into local shooting having spent years shooting in other locations UK, Africa and North and South America - not so much travel any more so more local shooting. And local is North London, Herts, Essex, Cambridge Bedfordshire
