Teal
I tried a beretta a couple of weeks ago, in 20gauge I think it was one of the silver pigeons, it had on the engraving partridges flying - so perhaps not a SP ? Was a lovely gun the guy bought it as a 2nd hand but it had virtually not been used, still not a mark on it and it is so light, you can guess what I am saving up for I think he said he got it for £700 where as new its quite a bit over a thousand ? markadams
William, It sounds like a Silver Pigeon II, I own the 12g version. they are great guns and very reliable. Mark.
CrapShot
William, I also have the Silver Pigeon II in 12g and it is the best gun i have ever owned. Mrs Crapshot shoots with the Beretta Whitewing which is a 20g and very, very light and at about £400 cheaper (new) maybe worth a look if you are interested in a 20g. dodeer
I had a SP2 20bore game model and it was great. I would say 30 inch barrels are best with i/c and 1/4 choke and use fibre wad 7's for best results.
