njc110381
We've all had spells of missing a few things. It's a nightmare when it happens to be Foxes though as they learn so fast! Hopefully you'll be able to get on top of them later, but the chances are you've created a lot of work for yourself. Taking the shot I hold my breath, but not for very long at all. I find if you try to hold steady for too long you start to wobble so just breathe gently and allow your crosshairs to rise and fall over the target. When you're happy and comfortable that's when to hold and then shoot pretty much instantly. At first it takes a little time but a Fox lost to being too slow will be back tomorrow. A Fox missed on the other hand may well avoid you from now on. I don't much like sticks. I tend to walk fences and use the posts if I can or if the ground is ok for it a bipod is perfect!
