Sharpshooter.123
Get a big lamp with filters and dimmers and you have got a multi purpose lamp setup also having the light dimmed will make the battery last longer
Mr Majyk
Get a big lamp with filters and dimmers and you have got a multi purpose lamp setup also having the light dimmed will make the battery last longer well put it this way im always on a budget when buying equipment and id like to get one of those scope mounted lights but im not sure which brightness to get? want one with a redfilter so the bunnys cant see it and was wondering if anyone could recommend one they have or have used? so i can be confident in what im buying before i spend my hard earned peanuts? would like something compact really but no loosing much power in comparison to its larger cousins? littlerob
you can get the scope mount one thats is about as big as a mini mag light and you can get a few now wich the bulb is colour insted of using filters and some of them comes with inter change able wich come with green red and white bulb but then it depends on how far you are tent hunting them a freind has a ledray gl2 tiny thing but will give a good shine to see clear at around 75 yards but put a filter on it and its dont to 20 yards max im thinking about getting one of these for my 12g semi at they have a vlecro mount that would double as a barrel mount or scope mount and esay to change over with a blink of an eye have a look they do green or just a plae white bule to http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Red-Beam-Hunting-Lamp-Kit-Ideal-Air-Rifles-Rimfire-battery-charger-/200742438444?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item2ebd2e862c but if you hunting with a riffle you whant one that will give you a good shine so you can hunt at a good range for your rifle
Mr Majyk
was out last night with one of my small hand held torches (holding it with the rifle was a tad fiddly but i managed ) and found that the torch was actually fine for use in air rifle ranges so ive found some mounts to attach it to my scope now id just like to find a red filter for it? anyone know where i can get one? torch head is 34mm, something with a rubber collar would be best i think? ta muchly! darren 67
Recently bought a tracer pinspot and been out with it a couple of times. Plenty of distance and not too wide a beam but only use it on the air rifle. Would say you can see clearly out to 60 to 70 yards for shooting not that i take shots at that distance.and i would say you could spot out to 100 yards easily if not more with a better scope than i have its only a bsa essential 3-9x40 on an AA s400 .177 but i manage and still come home with a few rabbits.
