chrisjpainter
hi all wots the best time to go out spotting rabbits? (times of day, weather that sort of thing). i wanna go an sit an watch them to see were they pop up from and if there only in certain area. thanks gaz yeah dawn/dusk are always a good shout, but with the weather being so lousy they may not be overly keen on being too active! but that does mean if the sun comes out they will be pretty busy, especially at this time of year. They will be most active when it's clear and still. as rabbits are very dependent on smell and hearing, adverse weather makes them nervous; strong wind makes hearing difficult and rain plays havoc with smell. find some good cover get out the bins and watch and wait!
