Finally got my F.A.C.

I now have my .22lr kit and I am looking at getting a Ben Taylor Theoben MFR. Lots of dosh though.

The interview with the bobby went ok, I got everything I asked for (all 5 guns) plus he upgraded one of the air rifles that I had not specified a silencer on to include one.

So in the end I got a .32 B/P pistol, .177 & .22 moderated air rifles, .22lr moderated & standard plus 1000rds to buy ammunition on a first ticket!

To say I am a bit happy would be an understatement.

oh and well done on the smooth move to the new URL, it took a while to track you all down again. :good:

well done

For the hell of it, they do b/p pistol shooting at the club. Its basically a 1860's revolver. I have on the ticket .32. Thi appears to be a mistake and it need to be a .44.

They are just as powerful as current .44 pistols and just as accurate but legal under current legislation.

Plexer

FAC Air rifles have to have their moderators listed seperately

On my first Certificate it stated FAC Air Rirle and also Air Rifle moderator, I recently had a variation on my certificate and for some reason they missed off my moderator i contacted them and they said i wold have to return my cert and have it put back on

Hope this helps

My F.O. said that its a bit of a grey area with airguns, but better to be safe than sorry. I didn't realise that they treat silencers as firearms in their own right. They get entered onto you certificate seperately and you have to fill in a form to send to the police to say you have bought one.
