pavman
Long story made short, Lamb killer wanted dead by farmer who has made life harder by dividing the field into Grazing strips with lecky fences so we cant drive round and just had a gateway we could sit in one end of a fairly large area. Highlander turns up at the range and we make sure we can hit at distance if required I manage an 8 a 9 and a 10 @300 yards with my 3 shots happy with that We drive to the field its still light and within 10 mins spot our target, how lucky 300 yards bang on our pre shoot practice session, he is sitting up, there is a good back stop. I have time to set up the shot and send the .243 58 grain V Max and Charlie drops like a stone. I dont normally take such long shots and prefer to get closer if I can but everything was right and it was safe with little wind so not a really a difficult distance with a mil hold over on the PMII. A nice Dog Fox in the bag and a happy Farmer Edited May 8, 2012 by pavman
