RedRobin
Can anyone recommend a Towbar fitting company within travelling distance of Coalville ,Leics ? I could fit it myself , but have limited time available . Ive spoken with Towequipe , and to be honest they where rubbish on the phone. 'Miles' away from Customer service and detailed product knowledge on specific vehicle towing capacities, let alone filling me with confidence to even fit a towbar. ! Cheers . chady
What car you got? I done my own took 1.5hours to fit bar as had to take bumper off..... and electrics took 2 hours.. you could easy do it in half a day. I live in coalville. If you decide to do it your self and need a hand.
Alex C
Have a look on Witter's web site. They have detailed fitting instructions for most models. I just took one off a Jag X type. Absolute doddle. If i had known it was so easy i wouldnt have paid to have it fitted !
Bionic Man
If you are prepared to travel to Leicester, then BERMICK's on Abbey Lane are really good.
ferguson_tom
What car have you got as some of them are a very very easy job? My terrano was 6 bolts and took 15 mins. My old focus was about 45mis as had to take off the rear bumper. The biggest pig was my mazda 6 which took me 3 hours as had to cut out the ends of the chassis rails to slide in some reinforcement bars. The wiring can be done by virtually any competent electrician, I did mine easily on all 3 cars and took me about 1.5 hours on each i reckon as you have to pull apart the boot and carpets etc.
