billywoodsman
Thought i would post a couple of pics from this afternoons corvid shooting,i raided the hen house to make a dummy nest and placed it out in the barley field with a couple of decoys which worked a treat, the total should have been double figures but i was way off with some shots. But hey,i had some fun. Check out the bottom bird, what a looker.

hedd-wyn
Well done mate, and you've given me the confidence to try out this technique. Were you using a shotgun?

Good luck haha wouldn't worry too much about it, I had some spectacular misses myself on the jacks yesterday Where exactly did you place the nest? Was it slap bang in the middle of the field? i'm surprised that kind of decoy didn't bring in the magpies as well. Hedd
