Ped
In terms of bikes I was lucky enough to get a spin on a couple of special Ducatis First one was a 888, the predecessor to the 916, amazing how good it was for a 1993 bike. The best though has to be a Desmosedici MotoGP replica. Basically a road going version of Ducatis 990cc race bike, a cool £40 grand and only 1500 made. It belonged to my mate who owns Moto Radido in Winchester and he foolishly let me take it out! This thing makes the ground shake, 990cc of V4 Italian power, around 195 brake horse power at the rear wheel with the full on race pipe which was loud enough to part traffic like Moses parted the red sea! I think when I topped 145mph in third gear I knew this was a bit special, stunning performance and handling but a wee bit thirsty, does about 20 miles to the gallon! I doubt I'll ever be lucky enough again to get a go on one of these again mores the pity Ped
