anser2
There was a time when I used to hate steel with a vengence but today its a very different matter provided you use the right shot size and load combined with the right type of choke. I use an American "Undertaker" choke in my Browning gold s\a with amazing results. The choke is make specifcaly for steel and regulated for shot size BB and BBB only. Its almost the same as an old lead full choke at .700 and produces clean kills at geese up to 50 yards with no problems. I have a second choke regulated for No 2 steel shot and again .700 and that will kill any high mallard that the old lead magnum shells would.
