baconbuttie
My mistake is your gain. Ordered this muzzle brake after being told my rifle was threaded M14x1 ... it's not ! 65.25mm long, 24.1mm diameter, 7.14m bore. I bought another one in the right size and it does a great job on my 22-250, although the people next to you on a range might not agree £25 posted, Paypal as "Personal Payment", Bank Transfer, Cheque all OK. demonwolf444
Just out of interest - is a "muzzle brake" different to a "moderator" ie does a muzzle brake not need to be on ticket, i know nothing much about FAC rifles, and im not interested in buying just curious. Thanks buddy
baconbuttie
A muzzle brake won't make your rifle any quieter like a mod will. A good centrefire mod will have a muzzle brake effect, reducing recoil and muzzle flip, effectively tightening your groups. As for it being on-ticket, I think that's a very grey area. Technically I bet a brake is a pressure bearing part, but I've never seen anyone offering a proved one. This one was made by an RFD, but is not on-ticket.
