compo90
when i started with ferrets the accepted age was 6 weeks.....that was a tad young for some kits.....but same as children some mature faster and wean earlier now the accepted age is around 8 weeks..... some people hang on to them until they are 12 weeks old... most of the taming and handling needs to be done at around 8 weeks old.....by 12 weeks old they should be adult sized and all there habits are formed... 7 weeks onwards they should be fine
Ferret Master
7-8 weeks in my opinion although like previously stated some litters mature earlier than others. FM
