Cambsman
Picked up an AA S400 for my son and took it out today to give it a go on the bunnies. Worked like a charm. Very pleased. Any issues I should be aware of? Can anyone recommend a bipod system that does not involve drilling the stock etc. Ta.
NIGHT SEARCHER
Have a look on YOU TUBE at cubleycats vids she got a new Rifle and didn`t want to drill holes in a nice new stock. What she did was HOT GLUE a piece of hard wood to the under side of the stock then drilled that and fitted the bi-pod to that. If she ever wants to remove it she will heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun and it should come of with no damage to the stock she might have to spend some time getting all the glue off but it should come of with no damage to the stock. If you try any of the clip on type of bi-pod do not clip it on the Barrel has it stops your barrel from Oscillating and makes the gun very inaccurate. A Barrel needs to be free floating to be accurate . Happy Edited June 4, 2012 by NIGHT SEARCHER
Cambsman
Thanks for the tip, especially about the clip-on bipods. Wish this weather would improve!
Brad93
Yeah don't put a bipod in your barrel, basically mucking about with the harmonics and bending the barrel depending on how much weight you put in it
halight
Hi mate, How about using a set of shooting sticks instead of a bipod ? Uttings sell the them from about £50. Or you could always make your own.
