fridayfish
I have just been on the NGO website and found the 2012 Auction. I have downloaded the lots and already placed a bid on some pigeon shooting in Dorset and stalking in Dorset. I should really keep this quiet but hey it is for a good cause. Happy bidding. fridayfish
Thanks for the link shame there is nothing in Norfolk on there. Hi I was sure that there was so I checked and there is pigeon shooting in Norfolk lot 86. There is stalking, keepers days, hare shooting (on a private estate in Norfolk donated by D. Clark - I wonder if that is the David Clark who is the head keeper at Sandringham??) all in Norfolk. The sheets would probably have been best laid out by county but I see that they have just split them North and South. There is plenty of pigeon shooting on offer in Suffolk!! fridayfish
got the catalouge in my NGO magazine spoilt for choice jus funds holding me back I know the feeling but I bid anyway - you only live once, the wife doesnt know :yp: and the auction doesnt end until September so I can put some loose change in the piggy bank. Every time I look at the lots I think oh that one I feel like the bald guy off Little Britian - "I want that one" The keepers days in Devon keep calling me, but I think they would be wasted unless I learnt to shoot properly. huffhuff
Silly question, is it NGO members only?
al4x
The dorset one is to be totally recommended if it is one of the two by a member on here, some awesome ground with heaps of deer. My brother had a day on corvids from the last auction down towards dorset and had a great day. I do believe you do need to be a member though. Lot 159 is also interesting as thats a place with a serious amount of ground and munties everywhere Edited June 7, 2012 by al4x
fridayfish
Silly question, is it NGO members only? I have checked the bidding T's & C's and you do NOT need to be a member to bid on the lots. You do need relevant licenses and insurance for shooting and fishing lots. Actually made another bid yesterday on stalking in Dorset after reading the post saying there were loads of deer!
