hi chaps, sorry if it's been done before but was wondering if any of you have tried the clearview netting from jack pyke. the one that is claimed to be see through from inside. seems a bit too good to be true and it seems cheap :hmm: thank in advance. aga man.

Its ok if theres very little wind and a very dark background....Any wind and its all over the place...If you cant get tight up against a hedge with your hide..Try using a fishing umbrella with a net on over you to create a shaded area...otherwise you can see straight through it..

all nets are see through, save your money on the clear view its just a camo net curtain that is worse than useless and catches every bit of wind, try the 3d leaf cut net,its light weight and reverseable :good:

i have tried the above inc the ghost and its the 3d leaf cut for me

I use one in conjunction with a Stealth net, as a combo they are great.

I've used the Clearview on its own against a good backdrop, you feel very exposed but it doesn't seem to bother the pigeons. Obviously if your hide sticks out from the hedgerow you would be visible side on so you need to keep still, but birds coming in head on decoy fine with it in my experience.

I wouldn't recommend one as a lone net since you do need a solid background to set up against, so the winter months would be a problem.

thanks for the reply's fella's. much appreciated and pretty much what i was expecting. it wasn't going to be used as my sole net, its just the wife wants to get me something from the kids for fathers day, and i thought about one of these nets as they are pretty cheap. i have used the leaf cut nets for many years and agree with vampire, that they take some beating. thanks again :good: aga man.
