i used one once, it seemed alright, accuracy and power wise however the owner had problems with a co2 leak which i believe he fixed. IMHO save and get either a half decent springer or pcp, Co2 in its nature of being affected by temperature will never be as good. However if you have your heart set on it you will buy it anyway, although me personally i would buy a XS/QB 78 or 79 any day over it, purely on the basis that they are more modifyable, and have more aftermarket parts available, i have one and i find it to be very good.

Thanks, I actually have one that I picked up recently in what you might call a 'job lot' and noticed it's advertised as knocking out 10-11+ ft/lb but I don't think it does.

Light as a feather and the bolt action is fun. Weird thin little barrel though. As you say I gather they're infinitely 'moddable' and are still pretty popular.

I gave it a bit of a workout the other day, nice gun. Pretty accurate at 30 yards from a standing position just using open sights.

It came with the special scope mounts to create a dovetail which looks like are about £15-16 delivered if bought online.

I'm thinking of selling it if you know anyone interested.
